The Jeepdolly is a double articulation system combined with a double oscillating king pin without hydraulic steering . The way Nooteboom constructed this trailer made it the best “ machinery transporter “ in the French market for the transport of earthmoving machinery in the range from 30 tonnes to 50 tonnes . It provided us with a low loading height , efficient steering and a strong chassis with the main beams on the outside . I opted for this Nooteboom concept because it gave us all these benefits in one trailer : more payload ( less dead weight ), optimal steering and , last but not least , “ easy operation ”.

Our company soon benefitted from this trailer ; through useful technical exchanges with Philippe Chavernac , the sales manager for Nooteboom in France , we developed new innovative designs that still give us a competitive advantage in France to this day . We bought a 4-axle EURO and Jeepdolly with a special low bed : it has a double wheel well which enables us to transport all the biggest “ loaders ” over shorter distances . Last year , we refurbished this trailer by adding an extension to be able to transport stone crushers and screens . There is an increasing demand for moving these on construction sites .
During those last 20 years we have invested in many Nooteboom technologies : from the Interdolly with 2 axle lines and 5-axle bogie up to a bogie with the advantage of pendle X axles in combination with a wide and deep trough for excavators . s copied but never equalled . They pay attention to every detail , giving consideration to everyone from the driver to the mechanic to the owner . Here are some unique examples . For the driver , you can detach the gooseneck on the same side as the other controls ( hydraulic , electric and air ) and you also can attach the gooseneck even after the machine has been loaded on muddy ground . The movement of the gooseneck makes it possible to lift down even when your loading bed sits under the level of the ground . Mechanically , you can easily disassemble the components and change any worn parts in a short time . So maintenance can be done safely and in a cost-effective way . As far as the owner is concerned , he benefits from a long-life trailer with a high residual value . A Nooteboom trailer is always easy to sell .
