QUALITY SELLS ITSELF
Louis-Marie Levet started out with Delta
Trucks in 2003, after a successful career
as sales advisor at Volvo Trucks. During
this time he first came in contact with
Nooteboom Trailers. In 2006 the partnership
was established and Delta became an official
dealer for the SMART programme. LouisMarie: “Our sales are mainly conducted in
the Paris region, but we also have excellent
connections in Normandy and Brittany. In
the Paris region everything has to be done
in a hurry. The Nooteboom trailers are used
intensively, especially in the road construction sector. We always have semi low-loaders
in stock, because our customers tend to
part-exchange their vehicles for a new one
quite quickly.”
Louis-Marie: “Delta Trailers, with 21 employees, of which four are in the sales department, has become an important organisation
for the sales of new and second-hand trailers.
Many contacts come to us via our website
and the quality of our trailers and service
sells itself.”
GROWING FAST
SO EVERYTHING IS PERFECT?

Louis-Marie: “The current developments in
France cause concern, not only socially but
also in the business world. In troubled times
there is less investment in new equipment.
The Brexit discussion too is bad for Europe.
We have a company that works together
with European partners and we buy new
trailers in various European countries. Our
customers for these new trailers are based in
France, but for the second-hand trailers we
have contacts far beyond the French borders.
I strongly support a Europe without trade
restrictions.”
Quality is the main reason Delta Trailers is
so successful. Top-quality trailers, excellent
service and a modern workshop but above
all: well-trained and enthusiastic personnel. ■
Louis-Marie: “Two years ago we moved into
our current location. We have completely
renovated the workshop. We made these
large investments after careful consideration.
During the last two years our workforce has
tripled and we already have plans to move
our trailer service into the premises next
door to us. The brands we sell are not the
cheapest, but our sales team can explain very
clearly that it’s the quality and service that
counts.”
WELL-TRAINED PERSONNEL
Louis-Marie: “We make use of the opportunity to have our mechanics trained at
Nooteboom in Wijchen. We have invested
heavily in the equipment in our workshop.
We have column lifts with a capacity of 80
tonnes and vehicles up to 42 metres long can
be repaired in our workshop. We have the
perfect equipment, but good service starts
