NEWS LASO TRANSPORTS SA “Nooteboom trailers are especially popular with our drivers” Based on the good experiences with Nooteboom trailers, LASO Transports SA from Malveira in Portugal has placed another order, this time for Nooteboom semi-trailers in various versions. The most eye-catching of these are the two Manoovr MPL 126-26 (VV) semi-trailers that will be delivered later this year. The Manoovr with Interdolly, introduced at the BAUMA in Munich in April 2016, is hugely successful. What’s especially important for LASO with this version is the low floor height, the extremely favourable tyre wear and the low maintenance costs. This order also includes six Euro 54-03 low-loaders and several Euro 114-24 low-loaders with an Interdolly. MC FADYENS TRANSPORT LTD New Manoovr after excellent experience with Multi-PX   A large part of the fleet of McFadyens Transport from Campbeltown (UK) is used for the transport of components for the windmill industry. Vehicles in their extremely modern fleet include the Nooteboom SWC Super Wing Carrier and the Mega Windmill Transporter (MWT). Choosing the 6-axle Manoovr semi low-loader was based on their excellent experiences with the 6-axle MultiPX. With its low floor the Manoovr is ideal for the transport of windmill tower sections and generators, but also for the transport of wheeled loaders, tracked machinery or industrial moves. DE LANGE SPECIAAL TRANSPORT “Twelve tonnes per axle is a big advantage in the Netherlands” From their office in Dordrecht (NL), De Lange Speciaal Transport organises abnormal transport operations across Europe. A transport measuring more than 5 metre in width, from Germany to Poland, is no exception. For this kind of transport the reliability of the trailers is a prerequisite. Nooteboom is the ‘preferred supplier’ for the trailers. The result: around 20 Nooteboom vehicles in the fleet. Based on their excellent experience with the 6-axle Multi-PX the fleet was recently extended with a Manoovr 2+6. Consequently De Lange Speciaal Transport is guaranteed a high load capacity throughout Europe and low running costs. LASO Transportes SA is one of the largest companies specialising in abnormal transport in Europe. A large part of the LASO fleet, with 850 units, consists of vehicles for the transport of windmills. LASO has more than 200 Nooteboom semi-trailers, varying from simple 3-axle semi low-loaders to the most advanced Super Wing Carriers and Mega Windmill Transporters. When choosing its trailers LASO not only makes a choice because of the vehicles, but also because of the service and the pleasant working relationship with Nooteboom. 31
