GIANTS ON THE ROAD
COLLETT TRANSPORT
“Versatile
semi-trailer”
Collett is one of the first customers to invest in
a 6-axle Manoovr. The semi low-loader is extendible up to 30.35 metres and has 100 tonnes
of load capacity. With this Manoovr Collet will
be able to meet the requirements of even their
most demanding customers.

UNIVERSAL TRANSPORT

Smallest possible
Manoovr 2+4 with
Multidolly
Zagrebtrans, from Croatia, is a fast growing
specialist in abnormal transport. In this
year alone Zagrebtrans has ordered from
Nooteboom several 5-axle MCO semi
low-loaders and a 4-axle Euro-PX low-loader
with a 2-axle Jeepdolly. The latest addition
to their fleet is the – up to now – heaviest
version of the Manoovr: a 10-axle MPL-15037(V). This 7-axle semi low-loader with a
3-axle Multidolly is good for a gross weight
of 150 tonnes. Zagrebtrans has dozens of
Nooteboom trailers in use, including a
Mega Windmill Transporter (MWT). In 27
years Zagrebtrans has grown to become an
international transport operator with 125
employees.
Universal Transport from Paderborn with
more than 20 branches is one of the major
players in abnormal transport in Germany.
In order to grow even further Universal has
recently opened new facilities in Turkey
and Egypt. Universal has had a relationship
with Nooteboom for many years. All kinds
of Nooteboom trailers can be found in their
extensive fleet, including three new Super
Wing Carriers. The new Manoovr 2+4 has
a maximum gross weight of 97 tonnes. This
2+4 version is the smallest possible combination: a 2-axle Multidolly and a semi low-loader with 4 axle lines. The 2+4 configuration
is perfectly suitable to be combined with 6x4
tractor.
The Finish company Havator Ab has invested
in a 6-axle Manoovr semi low-loader with a
2-axle Multidolly for their Swedish branch in
Norrköping. The Manoovr took a detour to
go to Norrköping to introduce the trailer to
the Swedish public at the Lastbil show, which
took place at the end of August in Jonkoping.
Havator is already well-acquainted with the
Nooteboom Manoovr because they have been
making full use of its predecessor – the MultiPX – for a few years now. The new Manoovr
was delivered in the same configuration, but
with all the advantages of the Manoovr technology. The first load was waiting immediately
after the show: a GT 800 turbine in the port
of Norrköpping. The type designation of this
semi-trailer is MPL-126-26 (VV). It stands for:
126 tonnes gross weight, a Multidolly with 2
axles and an axle assembly with 6 axles and
double extension.
