MULTI-PX 3+3+3
Multi-PX 3+3+3
for North America
Specially for the North American market
Nooteboom has developed the lightweight
Multi-PX Highway trailer. The joint venture
ALE-Heavylift and Roll-Lift have been using
several Multi-PX 3+3+3 semi low-loaders for
some time already.
This version was specially developed to meet
the specific regulations in Canada and the
United States. This versatile Multi-PX 3+3+3
Highway trailer offers a high payload for transports, within the regulations. The chassis is
extendible up to a length of around 32 metres
behind the gooseneck.
Another important advantage of this robust
semi low-loader is that it is also just right to be
used for ‘load outs’ and internal transport. This
is because of its high technical load capacity
of 165 tonnes and the large suspension stroke
of 60 cm so that the load can simply be jacked
up. And because the Nooteboom chassis has
great torsional stiffness, any torsion in the load
that could damage the load is prevented. The
Multi-PX Highway trailer is therefore an ideal
replacement for the complex modular trailers.
Important considerations for choosing
Nooteboom were the easy operation and high
reliability, also in extreme weather conditions.
European technology for special transport in
North America: a perfect combination.
JAC GOUD TRANSPORT
Doing the
calculations first
Jac. Goud Transport from Waarde has taken
into service a Scania with a Nooteboom Euro86-14 (IFP). Joop Goud: “Compared with our
previous low-loader the load floor is about 15
cm lower. In order to make the most of this
we have chosen a Scania with an ultra-low
cabin height of just 267 centimetres.”
transport 60 tonnes with a 100-tonne exemption. Railway tracks are integrated in the load
floor for the transport of locomotives.
To sum up: low, light, manoeuvrable and less
than 22 metres long when retracted. This is an
ideal combination for delivering machinery
on building sites where there’s little space to
manoeuvre.

IFP Interdolly
The new IFP Interdolly can only be uncoupled
at the side of the lowbed. This gives us 35 cm
more load length and almost 1,000 kg more
load capacity. The entire combination weighs
approx. 40 tonnes when empty and can

At the After Sales department of Nooteboom
they are regularly confronted with the same
questions. “How do I change the inside wheel
of a pendle axle?” or “How do I align the axles
of my hydraulically steered trailer?” Short films
that are easy to understand show the answer
to these questions in practice. The films can be
viewed online via the new Nooteboom website.
Various films have already been produced,
including the operation of the hydraulic
ramps, coupling/uncoupling the gooseneck of
a lowbed, aligning a vehicle and many more.
Other instruction and maintenance films will
be added in the near future.
