MOST IN YOUR LIFE?
I’ve had the good fortune of meeting many good people in my life who
have had a positive influence on me and helped to make me what I am.
However, the most important unconditional support and most profound
influence come from my family. They are and will be my strength, and
they set the best course for me to follow.
3 WHEN DID YOU GET YOUR DRIVING LICENSE?
When I was 18 years old, in 1985.
4 WHAT IS YOUR BRAND OF CHOICE?
There are many brands I like and I remain loyal to many of them. If I had
to choose one, though, I must follow my heart: Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

1 WHO IS PAULO FRANCO?
I value honesty and integrity. Values and principles are the most im-
portant part of a human being, and on them I build my path and my
personality. I demand much of myself and of those I work with. My
life is dedicated to my work and my family.

5 WHAT MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TO IN THE CAR?
Any music from the 80s, no doubt about it.
6 IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, WITH WHOM WOULD YOU LIKE TO
CHANGE PLACES FOR A DAY IN YOUR LIFE?
It’s a difficult question. There are many personalities that reflect my
own and of course I would not mind sharing their life experience for 24
hours. But maybe I would like the chance to work in the Public Works
and Transportation Ministry, with a legislative responsibility. Being able
to champion the interests of this business and create better conditions
for the Portuguese companies that work in this industry: this would be at
the top of my list.
7 WHAT NEWS DO YOU EXPECT IN THE SHORT TERM FOR
LASO EQUIPMENT?
One of our priorities, obviously, is to focus on more and better equip-
ment for our fleet. As far as that’s concerned Nooteboom trailers (8 axles,
