8 HOW CAN WE MAKE GOODS TRANSPORTATION SAFER?
When it comes to the responsibilities of our business, I believe
we’re at the forefront in safety management. We have always
considered the training of our partners to be a priority and they
are, most likely, the best trained and qualified people to carry out
any service and transportation, no matter the size or weight of the
goods.
Also, our focus on renewing and upgrading our fleet, as well as
having the most modern equipment at our disposal, results in a
high rate of success for these services and fewer problems due to
accidents.
9 IF YOU COULD PASS A NEW LAW, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
There are several laws in force that are a hindrance for our business
and the specific nature of the services we provide. I believe har-
monising laws, authorizations and rules for special transportation
in Europe would undoubtedly be a great improvement and an
interesting and valuable enterprise.
10 WHAT CHALLENGES DO YOU SEE COMING IN THE
FUTURE?
We aim to be the best service provider for the road transportation
of goods. As we have done in these last years, our priority is to
continue with the policy of adding to the fleet, both in quantity and
versatility. Also, to grow the company in more diverse fields, which
we continue to concentrate on as it will help to strengthen LASO’s
national and international status.
11 WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU FELT NERVOUS?
In a company of our size, with all the specifics and difficulties
that our activity entails, where we try to achieve perfection and
to exceed our customers’ demands every day, I think the last
time I’ve been nervous is always “yesterday”. However, I mean
nervous in the sense of looking for improvement, because I have
absolute confidence in our competence and the professionalism
of our partners.
12 WHAT DID YOU LEARN LAST WEEK?
At LASO we learn every day and from everyone. We encourage
teamwork and mutual cooperation in order to achieve our goals
and strengthen our position as a leading compa ny.
13 OF EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ACHIEVED SO FAR,
WHAT MAKES YOU MOST PROUD?
The best motivation for a professional is to feel that all his/her
efforts are rewarded with success. Therefore, looking at LASO,
celebrating its 10th anniversary next May and thinking about
the enormous challenges we have overcome already, we are all
undoubtedly feeling very proud.
14 IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE ANOTHER PROFESSION,
WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I could not imagine myself outside this world and this company.
I think my dream, professionally, has come true and am happy to
be in a profession that fulfils and challenges me daily.

LASO. If I can use two words, I’d add “Overcoming Obstacles”.
