NOOTEBOOM SALES & SERVICES
The international transport market is
growing fast and so is the demand
for Nooteboom trailers. In order to
give our customers the best possible
service we have strengthened our sales
team. After receiving thorough in-
house training about the Nooteboom
products, regulations, loads etc. they
will be ready to give you expert advice.
We would like to introduce some of
them to you now.
ROBERT NIJHUIS
In July 2017 Robert Nijhuis became
the new Sales & Services Director at
Nooteboom Trailers. Since taking
up his duties he has got to know the
organisation, the products and the
markets extremely well and with
his sales team he has been devoting
all his attention to the customers of
Nooteboom. Nooteboom intends
to concentrate all their commercial
activities even more strongly around
their customers. So since 2018 all
contacts with the customers concerning
new-build, service, parts and used
vehicles are centrally organised in
Sales & Services. That step is a logical
consequence of the Nooteboom strategy
in which the customer is put at the
centre. Robert Nijhuis has gained ample
experience in international senior
management functions, e.g. at Siemens
and Stork. ■

ANDRÉ WALTHER (F) JEAN-FRANCOIS DELCROIX (B+L)
In February this year André Walther
joined the sales team France as area
sales manager for northern and
eastern France. André has plenty of
experience in sales and marketing
within the crane and transport sector
in France. Previous employers include
prominent companies such as Vetter,
Kögel and General Trailers. André can

place in the sales statistics for heavy
trailers in Belgium. A good reason to
expand the sales team, which for years
consisted of Paul Cedee only. Jean-
François is focussing his attention on
the French-speaking areas of Belgium
and Luxembourg. During the past
14 years he has gained a great deal of
experience in business-to-business
sales as sales advisor in Wallonia
and Luxembourg at the TVH Group

RALPH DISVELD, EXPORT
Companies outside Europe call upon
Nooteboom more and more. The
advanced European technology,
especially at Nooteboom, proves to
be useful in those markets too. Ralph
Disveld has been a member of the
Export Worldwide sales team since
the middle of 2017. He is also the
sales manager responsible for the
Middle East, Africa, South America
and Oceania. Ralph finished his stud-
ies at the HAN University of Applied
Sciences in 2013 and in recent years
has worked at several suppliers for the
logistics sector. Ralph can be contact-

CHRISTIAN MAIER (D)
German transport operators very much
appreciate the importance of the high
product quality of the Nooteboom
trailers. In order to advise them even
better, the sales team Germany has
been strengthened with the appoint-
ment of Christian Maier. Christian will
be active in the south-eastern region
of Germany. For many years Christian
was responsible for the sales of
Palfinger cranes. This experience is an
excellent starting point for a successful
